I may be dense, but tonight as I was fixing trick or treat bags for the kiddies whilst watching GB, it looked like Egon was giving Peter the numbers for the billing! Like Egon scratches the side of his face with 4 fingers right as Venkman says "...four thousand dollars...." And he and Egon breifly make eye contact as Egon subtly holds up one finger for the $1000 part!

Heh...am I seeing things or just slow? biggrin.gif

You ain't slow. I'm just really smart. I always kinda noticed it and I thought that was funnier than the whole price ordeal. Maybe I'm the slow one?

All: Dang maybe I'm slow for not seeing this thread or this many responses quickly. wacko.gif

Yes, 20 years ago Dr. Venkman didn't know what to bill for their (of course now our) services. Egon and Ray had all the pricing figured out from the beginning, but since none of them knew they were going to have a call that night (or any night for that matter) it wasn't so important to tell Dr. Venkman right away. Least that's what I heard!

Yeah with the old pan and scan/full screen editions Harold Ramis gets cut out of the frames, he spoke of this in the "live" commentary. I wonder if the guys knew the throwers were going to cause the damages they did the first time if they would have charged less. Man, good thing for those release forms we have. ohmy.gif

Yeah I didn't know what we should charge back then. We didn't even know if we could catch a ghost, I was skeptical then. I looked at Egon, he gave me 4 fingers and I had the price. Later on he said he meant $400. J/K

Answer me this then, why does it cost so much to capture and contain a ghost anyway? Huh? dry.gif

There's way too much involving involvement involved to explain our explainatory explanation, and it would cause too many causes of causal causation.

I always thought that GBI Standard was $4000 for labor and $1000 for Proton charging and storage.
