Richard has mentioned this at times though I'm not sure how often on here lately. Well some franchises for whatever reason change servers or worse go out of business. Most of them never tell us. Or odd to me their site is still up with no updates for example in a year or more! sad.gif This has caused me and the other accountants at the company problems. Such as delinquent franchise fee payments.

I'm really the 5th ghostbuster. The guys no longer make that public knowledge. They don't let me touch the equipment, I can't use it or even sit in Ecto 1. I don't go on calls, but sometimes I listen in on them.

That's ok, when I'm home I wear my home made uniform and practice moves with my toy proton pack and toy trap. Who ya gonna call? Louis Tully, C.F.O. That's me!

Louis: Thanks, I was getting ready to address this issue again myself.

All: If you visit the GBI site often, you already know (if not, now you do) we're working on updating the former famed master franchise list. Part of that involves listing only active franchises. Before we go removing links and shredding very outdated paperwork, we're giving all our franchises a chance to check in.

What do you need to tell us?

You can email me or posting here is fine. Let us know your franchise name, the site address, and last time you updated it. If its been months (or a lot longer) let me know why.

Basically we who run GBI behind the scenes need to know if you're still into this. No sense in linking to an inactive franchise, last update for example 2002. dry.gif

Lastly if you are an active franchise, we would like to have a small logo from your franchise for the new, upcoming list.

http://www.angeltowns3.com/members/gbuk/index.html

I'd say the site was last updated a few days ago (Maybe a week at most) when Iain uploaded the more detailed case log of our first adventure where we meet the original Ghostbusters smile.gif

I'll get you a small image of the logo soon.

Andy: Not for nothing, but I think you mean Customer Service Reps. ComServ is the marketing department.

Andy: The Comm. Services Dept may be handling this if we're asked to create some logos. Like Bill I knew what you meant. biggrin.gif

I had spoke to Will about this, I told him right now I only wanted franchises to check in. If they don't before we're ready to update the list, you guys could contact whomever's left from the list. The point of checking in was to see how active a franchise is. Its not enough for you guys to just contact the old for example, Foot Hills GBs who were kinda interested, but after we never heard anything from them and last I knew, their site wasn't even up as a franchise site. Or I could be mistaken for another old franchise site.

If I need you guys to actually contact the remaining franchises, you know I'll let you know.

Andy, yes, Iain is the representative, but he's been very busy with some college stuff...and, well...I kinda assumed a temporary role on his position...short term...probably won't last long anyway.

Iain & Ben: This is why in part we need this kind of check in. Especially when it comes to outside the US, the International part of GBI, I had no idea you had temp. assumed his customer services (customer relations) duties.

Maybe we should have an employee check in. laugh.gif J/P

Chris: Thank you for checking in, it was unecessary as the Piedmont GBs are not yet official. We have discussed the pix and the website situaton before off here. This was just for our current franchises and does not in anyway mean an upcoming franchise would be excluded eventually. Once the requirements are met and we know you're active, your upcoming franchise would be on the new, upcoming list.
